The Charta Smeralda is a code of ethics to share principles and actions to protect the seas drawn up to raise awareness among public opinion, operators and all stakeholders, highlighting the sense of urgency in tackling the most pressing problems of the oceans and marine and coastal ecosystems and aimed at defining concrete, immediate and problem-solving-focused areas for action.
